Maintenance Assistant

Job Summary

Join Barnet Lane Clinic in Borehamwood as a Maintenance Assistant where you will help create a well‑presented and safe environment for patients at the Elysiums Complex Care and Recovery Service (CCRS).

Responsibilities

• Ensure the service facilities are fit for purpose, including gardening and regular audits to identify and repair faults.
• Perform maintenance tasks on buildings, equipment and décor, and report faults and defects to a manager.
• Participate in an on‑call rota for emergency maintenance and support contractors on site.

Qualifications & Skills

• Previous maintenance experience.
• Strong teamwork, independent work skills and respect for residents.
• DIY skills for safety checks and repairs.
