AI Business Lead (Consultant) – Contract

We’re seeking an experienced AI consultant (independent or via a firm) to act as an AI Business Lead, working upstream of AI delivery. This role focuses on identifying high-value use cases, defining ROI, assessing data readiness, and optimising workflows before AI solutions are built and deployed.

What you’ll do

• Lead discovery workshops to identify and prioritise AI use cases
• Develop robust ROI frameworks and business cases
• Map and assess current workflows, data, and processes
• Recommend and design optimised target-state workflows
• Partner with engineering on solution definition and delivery
• Oversee testing, evaluation, and user acceptance

What you’ll bring

• Strong consulting background in AI use case development, ROI modelling, and process re‑engineering
• Practical understanding of AI/GenAI and where it delivers value
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills
• Experience in sectors such as hospitality, retail, membership, or media (preferred)
