An exciting opportunity has arisen within NTW Solutions Ltd, for the role of Maintenance Assistant. The suitable candidate will have previous maintenance experience, preferably within a healthcare environment, and sound written and verbal communication skills.

Main duties of the job
The Maintenance Assistant’s role will require working within a multi‑disciplinary team undertaking planned preventative and reactive maintenance tasks on mechanical, electrical plant, equipment and services, as well as grounds and gardens.
A flexible approach and an ability to undertake works associated with other trades is required. The role involves driving between sites as and when required.

Pay: £26,499 per annum (or £13.55 per hour). There is potential to earn more, with enhancements offered for weekend work and on‑call duties.

Experience
- Previous experience working in building, mechanical and electrical engineering
- Experience in the operation, service and repair of relevant types of plant and equipment
Skills & Knowledge
- Demonstrated good understanding of health and safety
- Meet the mobility requirements of the role
Education
- NVQ Level 1 in an appropriate engineering, building or construction environment (Diploma)
- GCSE or equivalent to include Maths and English is desirable
