Job Title: Senior Project Manager / Senior Producer (Experiential team)
Reports To: Team Lead
Location: Shoreditch, London
Hybrid approach: WFH: Monday-Friday; In office: Tuesday-Thursday.
Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 (DOE)
About the Role
This role focuses on leading and overseeing projects on the Experiential team, ensuring they are delivered effectively across various teams. You will manage timelines, budgets, resources and stakeholders, ensuring a high level of quality and creativity throughout, and will balance hands‑on project oversight with client relationship development and team mentorship.
Key Responsibilities
- 80% billable work.
- Lead end‑to‑end delivery of multiple experiential and brand activation projects, from brief through to installation and de‑rig.
- Act as a trusted strategic partner to clients, contributing to campaign direction and broader brand objectives.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, resources and stakeholder communications.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and service excellence.
- Oversee and mentor mid‑level and junior team members.
- Own project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, reconciliation and supplier management.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with design, creative, production, account teams and third‑party suppliers, contractors and freelancers.
- Support new business development through proposal input, pitch participation, and commercial insight.
- Line‑manage and develop team members, driving knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
- Contribute to agency culture, sustainability initiatives and process development.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously (typically 2‑5) at various stages of planning, design, production or installation.
- Take the lead in live project client meetings and calls, ensuring progress updates are clearly communicated.
- Attend and manage live events, installations and de‑rigs, including on‑site supplier and crew management.
Financial & Operational Oversight
- Maintain full visibility over pipeline, capacity and resource planning, escalating to Team Lead or Associate Project Director.
- Own finances for your secured projects and ensure juniors’ budgets are controlled.
- Support forecasting, pipeline planning and account development with Client Services.
- Attend client briefings to confirm scope, deliverables and commercial objectives.
Team Management & Development
- Line‑manage 1–2 junior team members.
- Coordinate learning sessions and internal knowledge sharing.
- Support recruitment and onboarding alongside APD / Team Lead.
- Embed agency values and working practices in all project management approaches.
Key Skills & Attributes
- Proven experience managing experiential, event or campaign‑led projects within a creative agency.
- Excellent understanding of production techniques, materials, supplier management and technical drawings.
- Strong commercial acumen – confident handling budgets, forecasting and reconciling across projects.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, able to influence stakeholders.
- Experience developing team members, with a focus on career growth.
- Organised, detail‑driven, calm under pressure – able to juggle competing priorities.
- Passionate, self‑motivated and deeply engaged with the work.
Desirable Experience
- Background in retail or brand activation campaigns.
- Experience delivering complex experiential projects with budgets £500k or more.
- Strong presentation and pitch experience.
- Familiarity with agency project management tools and platforms.
- Experience with real‑life and digital brand experiences.
