Support Worker – Doncaster, South Yorkshire

Location & Hours

Work in Doncaster, South Yorkshire. Part‑time or full‑time (25–37.5 hrs per week) on a permanent basis.

About the role

Support Workers deliver person‑centred care and practical assistance to people with learning disabilities, helping them live independent and fulfilling lives.

Responsibilities

• Support people with daily living tasks – cooking, cleaning, managing money, attending appointments
• Encourage independent living and personal development
• Provide companionship and promote positive relationships
• Help people access the community and social activities
• Provide personal care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and medication (where required)
• Drive individuals to activities or appointments (require a full manual UK driving licence)

Qualifications & Requirements

• A caring, patient, and compassionate person
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
• A full manual UK driving licence is advantageous
• Experience in care is welcome but not required – full training will be provided
