Digital Product Owner – Brochureware & Marketplace

Locations: Glasgow, Edinburgh, London.

We have an exciting opportunity within our Digital Business Banking Team (Business Tribe) to develop and deliver a product vision and strategy for the Business Brochureware and Marketplace. The role focuses on improved customer experience and digital adoption, with a ruthlessly prioritised backlog aligned to the Tribe Objectives and Key Results.

Working hours: 28‑35 hours per week. This is a 12‑month secondment, with hybrid working enabled. The position is based at the London office, with occasional collaboration in Glasgow or Edinburgh.

Responsibilities

  • Own the product vision and strategy for the Business Brochureware and Marketplace.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders (marketing, risk, finance, legal) to ensure prioritised outcomes meet regulatory and customer needs.
  • Drive continuous improvement through the development of a ruthlessly prioritised backlog.
  • Partner with the wider Business Tribe to set the roadmap within the Tribe roadmap and agreed OKRs.
  • Lead the squad, fostering a high‑performing culture and embedding the company values.
  • Collaborate and network with other teams across the organisation, building relationships with key business areas and Tribes.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrable experience as a Digital/Technical Product Owner in an Agile environment.
  • Comfortable working with technology teams and able to discuss technical decisions and risks.
  • Strong backlog management skills: user story writing, refinement, servant‑leader mindset.
  • Excellent communication, able to articulate complex messages, trade‑offs, and tell a compelling story.
  • Influence diverse stakeholders with strong leadership and problem‑solving capabilities.
  • Challenge mindset, embracing change and driving out‑of‑the‑box ideas.
  • Experience applying customer‑first behaviours.
