Overview
A warm, relaxed and music-loving family in rural Hassocks, near Burgess Hill are seeking a flexible, energetic Norland Nanny (or equivalent) to support their family on an ad‑hoc basis. This is a wonderful opportunity to build a long‑term relationship with a family who values reliability, creativity and a love of music.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for two 3‑year‑old twins, including supervision, play engagement and outdoor activities.
- Prepare nutritious home‑cooked meals and manage children’s laundry.
- Maintain routines and support the twins’ attendance at local forest school during term time.
- Incorporate music, singing and creative activities into daily life.
- Adjust to both weekday and weekend schedules as required.
- Assist with light housework related to childcare.
- Act as a calm, reassuring presence while encouraging independence and confidence.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years nanny experience in a home setting.
- Preferred: Norland Certificate or equivalent.
- 12‑hour Paediatric First‑Aid Certificate.
- Clean driving licence; ability to drive the twins to forest school and other activities.
- Proactive, adaptable, enthusiastic, with a love of the outdoors.
