Monday – Thursday

Rate: £16.94 per hour

Location: Outskirts of Horsham – due to their location you must have access to your own reliable transport.

Our client, a well‑established manufacturing business, is currently seeking Production Operatives to join their night shift team. This is a hands‑on role offering the opportunity to secure a permanent position following a successful temporary period.

Working within a busy production environment, you will be responsible for assembling, testing, and preparing products while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

• Assembling and testing products using a range of electrical and mechanical equipment.
• General soldering and brazing duties.
• Preparation and testing of components and assemblies.
• Basic hand tool work and fabrication.
• Operation of a variety of production equipment and machinery.
• Adopting a hands‑on approach to support production targets and maximise efficiency.
• Always following production procedures and quality standards.
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Essential Requirements

• Good manual dexterity with the ability to assemble small components.
• Experience using basic hand tools.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• Adaptable and flexible in a fast‑paced manufacturing setting.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Good numeracy skills.
• Well organised with the ability to use initiative.
• Must be eligible to live and work in the UK.

Desirable Experience

• Previous experience as a Production Operative.
• Experience within manufacturing, engineering, assembly, or production environments.
• Experience working with small‑batch assembly or precision products.
