Site Service Engineer – X‑ray & CT Imaging Systems
Location: Bishops Stortford, United Kingdom
Salary & Benefits: Overall Earnings £60,000 per annum (Basic Salary £50,000). Overtime, mileage, full product training, phone and laptop provided, holidays, and an excellent benefits package.
The Role
We are looking for a technically motivated, customer‑focused Site Service Engineer responsible for the service, installation and breakdown repair of sophisticated X‑ray and CT imaging systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Service, installation and repair of X‑ray and CT imaging equipment on site.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance of imaging systems.
- Maintain accurate records of service activities and parts usage.
- Collaborate with customers and internal teams to resolve equipment issues efficiently.
Qualifications & Experience
- Competent background in a service or maintenance engineering capacity within high‑value capital equipment environments.
- Experience in imaging, printing or pre‑press, semiconductor, manufacturing, maintenance engineering (PLC), electronics/electro‑mechanical equipment, laboratory, medical or pharmaceutical equipment, or former HM Forces engineering (medical, dental, weapons systems, radar, REME, RAF, or Navy electronics).
- No direct imaging experience required; comprehensive product training will be provided.
