Job Description

The role of Property Manager is responsible for the day‑to‑day management of a portfolio of developments in and around the Reading area.

  • Carry out development inspections to ensure the company’s responsibilities are met.
  • Proactively communicate with customers regarding our management of their development, ensuring communication strategies are achieved and reviewed on a regular basis.
  • Effectively manage the customer relationship, responding to queries, building positive relationships, reporting to clients regularly, and attending meetings as required.
  • Resolve customer complaints effectively and in a timely manner.
  • Liaise with the Accounts department to ensure accurate financial management of the development.
  • Source, appoint and manage competent trade persons to undertake works across the portfolio.
  • Ensure all works undertaken by contractors are of suitable quality and cost effective.
  • Ensure all Health & Safety and industry legislation is adhered to.

Qualifications and Skills

  • At least 3 years’ experience in the residential property management sector.
  • ATPI qualified (desirable).
  • Understanding of the Building Safety Act 2022 and Fire Safety regulations.
  • Proven track record in customer service with excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate well with individuals at all levels.
  • Proven track record of budgeting and account management.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft packages.
  • Previous experience of contract management.
  • Client‑focused, organised, self‑motivated, with the ability to use own initiative and work to tight deadlines.
  • Attention to detail, while maintaining perspective and making informed decisions.
