Role Summary
We’re looking for an experienced Multi Trader to join our responsive maintenance team, working across social housing properties in and around Swadlincote. This is a customer‑facing role where quality, care, and getting things right first time really matter.
Responsibilities
- Carry out a wide range of responsive repairs and maintenance works within occupied social housing homes, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
- General multi‑trade repairs (carpentry, minor plumbing, patch plastering, basic tiling, etc.).
- Diagnose and resolve day‑to‑day repair issues.
- Work professionally in residents’ homes with a strong customer focus.
- Complete work to agreed SLAs and company standards.
- Accurately update job records using a mobile device.
Qualifications
- Proven trade background (multi‑skilled).
- NVQ Level 2 in a relevant trade (or equivalent).
- Experience in social housing responsive maintenance.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Strong customer service skills and a professional approach in residents’ homes.
