Role: Mechanical Fitter – Water sector

Location: Anywhere

Duration: 3 months + Potential extension

Rate: £28 – £31 per hour CIS + Accommodation

Hours: 46 hours per week

Overview: The client, a large water industry contractor specializing in mechanical and electrical installation, seeks a Mechanical Fitter with either water industry or industrial experience. The candidate should be open to stay‑away work and must hold a CSCS card.

Responsibilities

• Installing steel pipework
• Engaged in both water and wastewater projects, including maintenance of pumps, pipes, bridge repairs, and related tasks
• Performing installation work as required

Qualifications

• Qualified mechanical fitter (NVQ or City and Guilds level 3)
• CSCS card essential
• Experience in the water sector preferred
