We’re looking for a Static Air Conditioning Engineer to work on the GSK site in Irvine. The role involves the planned and reactive maintenance of air conditioning and HVAC systems within a critical pharmaceutical environment. The engineer will be responsible for delivering high standards of service, ensuring compliance with site procedures, health & safety regulations, and statutory requirements.Role Responsibilities: Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPMs) on air conditioning systemsDiagnose faults and undertake effective fault findingComplete remedial and reactive maintenance worksMaintain and service VRV and VRF systems, including split systemsEnsure all works are completed safely and documented accuratelyLiaise with site management and clients to ensure minimal disruption to operations Qualifications & Experience: F-Gas Category 1 certificationNVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration (or equivalent)Proven experience working as an Air Conditioning EngineerStrong PPM and fault-finding experience across commercial systemsFull UK driving licence requiredStrong background in PPMs, remedials, and fault findingExperience working in a static site environment (ideally within a regulated setting) This role is ideal for a reliable and technically competent engineer looking for a stable, site-based position within a high-profile facility.There’s a place for you at Mitie, join us today! #EngGen Our market-leading offering provides you with benefits that suit your lifestyle.
