The Northern Ireland Boys Brigade (BBNI) works with over 11,350 boys and young men in 238 BBNI companies in Northern Ireland and Donegal. With over 2,700 volunteer leaders, Boys Brigade is a ministry tool for the local church, focused on advancing Christs Kingdom among boys.
About The Role
The Role
This role involves co-ordinating and developing the programme and resources provided to leaders, equipping them to offer a fun, engaging and inspirational programme which encourages the physical, intellectual, emotional, social and spiritual development of boys and young men so that they may achieve their full potential.
This role is based at BBNI Headquarters in Culcavy, Hillsborough.
Salary
£25,875 per annum
Hours of work
35 hours per week. This role will include some evening and weekend work.

Required Criteria
- Experience of developing and delivering programmes for children and/or young people
- Experience of planning, coordinating and delivering projects
- Experience of working collaboratively with volunteers and external stakeholders
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good digital skills, including Microsoft Office
- Good written English
- A commitment to the vision, mission and values of The Boys’ Brigade in Northern Ireland
- A full, valid driving licence
Desired Criteria
- A relevant third-level qualification (Level 6 or above) or equivalent experience
- Experience of working or volunteering in a youth and/or children’s ministry setting
- Experience of leading and supporting volunteers
- Experience of managing budgets
