Responsibilities

• Follow all traffic regulations and corporate rules when driving a DHL delivery vehicle.
• Plan and stick to efficient delivery routes to maintain daily schedules.
• Load and unload packages, ensuring goods are handled correctly and safely, including lifting large items.
• Obtain signatures or proof of delivery and keep delivery records up to date.
• Communicate clearly with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status or any issues.
• Inspect the vehicle regularly and report maintenance needs promptly.
• Maintain a professional appearance and uphold the company’s reputation when interacting with customers.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar position within a warehouse or logistics setting.
• Valid driving licence with a clean driving record.
• Experience operating large trucks or vans for business purposes.
• Ability to lift heavy items safely and efficiently.
• Strong communication skills and courteous interaction with clients and coworkers.
• Organised route planning and punctuality in deliveries.
• Previous warehouse experience is helpful but not required.
