Job Description:

Alliance Personnel are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to join one of clients based in Birmingham.

To be responsible for writing and cooking new products based on product briefs.

To write, cook and present new product recipes in preparation for management approval.
To be responsible for tweaking and fine‑tuning products to meet business needs.
To research and develop new product concepts relevant to the business needs.
To be able to communicate tweaks in recipes so management can make decisions on product viability.
To be responsible for bench marking existing products against competitors’ alternatives.
To be responsible for value engineering current products to meet an ever‑demanding market.

Must be a trained chef to a senior level.
Must have experience of developing recipes and products ideally for a manufacturing business.
Must have a passion and interest in food.
Must be computer literate.
Must be comfortable with handling and tasting all types of food.

Flexible 8:30am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday
