Management Accountant

We are recruiting for a exciting and broad Management Accountant role for a SME entity in Deeside that is part of a global group. You will be responsible for supporting key stakeholders through effective business partnering, as well as supporting month and year end processes such as statutory accounting and financial analysis. Your main responsibilities will be:

• Preparing monthly management accounts and supporting month end close
• Assisting with future business planning and forecasting processes
• Managing fixed asset registers and capitalisation of projects
• Business partnering providing financial insights and working closely with departments to improve profitability and cost reduction
• Preparing statutory accounts and corporation tax and VAT returns
• Supporting external audits

To be considered for this Management Accountant role, you must have:

• Experience working in a management accountant role, ideally with a group function above you
• Experience in preparing financial data and presenting in order to help with decision making processes
• Commercial acumen
• Excellent communication skills with ability to partner with non-finance stakeholders
