Professional Services Engineer – Description
We are seeking a customer‑facing, billable Professional Services Engineer to engage clients in a consultative capacity and provide specialized expertise across NICE products and the contact center ecosystem, including CRM, telecommunications, analytics, and social media.
Key Responsibilities
Technical
- Provide staff‑level technical configuration and programming as required.
- Perform process, data, and object modeling in application and database environments.
- Design, develop, and enhance database applications and coordinate changes.
- Lead technical architecture, analysis, design, development, and enhancement activities.
- Maintain expertise and currency in leading contact center technologies.
Project
- Act as project manager for end‑to‑end system life cycle development of small to large‑scale projects.
- Develop costing proposals, perform risk analysis, and manage change control.
- Conduct business analysis, user needs assessment, and systems design for major projects.
- Prepare comprehensive cost/benefit analysis and business cases.
Business
- Maintain a professional image in conduct, attitude, and attire.
- Assist in developing client information‑management standards and evaluating technology trends.
- Contribute to business area assessment and user needs analysis.
- Support cost/benefit analysis and business case preparation for new projects.
Supervisory
- Supervise junior client staff and any subcontracted personnel involved in projects.
Qualifications
- BS/BA in technical (Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering) or business (Marketing, MIS) field, or equivalent experience.
- Completion of UK sovereignty clearance within onboarding timeline.
- At least 4 years of relevant professional experience.
- Specialization experience: Implementation, Business Optimization, Education & Enablement, or Engineering Services (details as appropriate).
- Desired personal profile: analytical, inquisitive, service‑ and team‑oriented, friendly, early adopter.
