Job Summary
As a Regional Clinical Development Nurse at Barchester, you will lead, support, and continuously improve the clinical governance and quality of care for residents in our care homes throughout Yorkshire. Your role involves analysing monthly governance data, identifying strategies to meet regulations, and ensuring continual improvement of care delivery.
Responsibilities
- Review clinical governance database and key performance indicators (KPIs) for each home monthly.
- Analyse results and develop practical strategies to meet all regulatory standards.
- Work closely with the Regional Director, improvement specialists, and senior clinical staff to support continuous improvement.
- Organise new training and attract key senior clinical staff.
- Deliver clinical investigations and implement action plans to address arising issues.
- Ensure willingness for regular travel across the Yorkshire region.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RGN) with current NMC registration.
- Evidence of continued professional development.
- Strong understanding of current regulatory requirements.
- Experience working in a care home environment and confident clinical mentoring.
