Technical Operations Manager

At Avondale Foods Ltd we are recruiting for a Technical Operations Manager to oversee the technical aspects of production ensuring compliance and the successful execution of processes and factory standards are upheld. This role bridges technical teams and operational staff, implement solutions that align with the company goals. As a result, this role requires a strong on-site presence within the factory to effectively support day-to-day operations and ensure smooth collaboration with production teams. Shift Pattern;Monday to Friday 08:00am-16:30pm What you will do; Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for technical and operational tasks. Work as a leader and mentor by providing guidance and training to the QA team, fostering professional growth and ensuring high-quality standards are consistently met. Facilitate communication between technical team and other department goals. Represent the technical department at Lean Board meetings to drive continuous improvement. Plan, coordinate and implement technical projects to ensure success and achievement of objectives. Monitor and mitigate risks related to technical operations by conducting risk assessments and troubleshooting issues. What we need from you; A degree in Food Science or a related technical field. Qualification in auditing 3+ years experience in a technical management role Leadership skills with the ability to lead, motivate and manage team Excellent verbal and written communication skills for collaboration and reporting Proven analytical skills with the ability to analyse data, trouble shoot issues and implement solutions Experience with major retailers Strong problem solving and adaptability in fast paced environment For the full job description please visit the company website…
