Responsibilities
- Leading warehouse and production teams to deliver efficient, accurate and timely pick‑pack operations
- Overseeing day‑to‑day operations, including planning, resourcing and shift management
- Managing peak periods with headcount of up to 500 staff, ensuring performance, quality and safety targets are met
- Monitoring and improving KPIs across throughput, productivity, accuracy and operational cost
- Driving continuous improvement, problem solving and embedding best practice in a changing environment
- Working closely with the founder and senior leadership to support strategic priorities and customer commitments
Experience and qualifications
- Proven experience as a Operations Manager (or similar) within high‑volume warehouse, production or fulfilment operations
- Leading large teams and managing significant seasonal headcount
- Successfully operating in a founder‑led or owner‑managed environment, with comfort around pace and direct feedback
- Demonstrable track record of improving KPIs, processes and operational performance
- Confidence working in an ever‑changing environment, with the resilience to handle pressure, challenge and rapid change
- Strong people leadership skills, with the ability to set clear expectations, make decisions and hold others accountable
