HGV Class 1 Tramper

Pay: £19.00-£26.00 per hour

Job Description:

Drivers Direct Recruitment are looking to recruit class 1 Trampers to work for our client in Yaxley.

Details-

• General Haulage
• Curtain siders
• 06:00 – 08:00 start times
• 2-3 drops per shift
• x4 nights out per week

Pay Rate-

£19.00-£26.00 (This includes Holiday Pay) will also be paid £25 for each night out.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Carrying out relevant daily vehicle safety checks and reporting as per Operational Procedures.
• Ensure all delivery and collections are carried out in accordance with company procedures.
• To deliver & collect to customers in a safe and professional manner.
• To complete all work related paperwork in full and hand in at the end of the shift.

Essential Skills:

• Hold a valid HGV 1 / Cat C+E licence.
• Driver qualification (CPC) card.
• Digital tacho card.
• Good communication skills.
• Good customer relations.
• Have a safe driving record.
• Minimum 6 month driving HGV 1. (Due to insurance stipulations).
• No more than 6 minor penalty points. (Due to insurance stipulations).
• No DRs, INs or DDs offence codes. (Due to insurance stipulations).
