People and Culture Apprentice

Fixed Term | Harwich | £20,933.00 – 24,522.00 per annum | 37 hours per week

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our HR team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is eager to learn, enjoys working with people, and wants to gain hands‑on experience across a variety of HR functions.

You will support the People, Recruitment, and Learning & Development (L&D) teams with a wide range of administrative and coordination tasks while working towards your Level 3 HR qualification via an apprenticeship with Colchester Institute.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting day‑to‑day HR administration
  • Assisting with recruitment activities, including interview coordination and candidate communication
  • Helping maintain employee records and HR systems
  • Supporting Learning & Development activities and training administration
  • Preparing documents, reports, and correspondence
  • Providing excellent support to colleagues and stakeholders across the organisation
  • Working collaboratively with the HR team on ongoing projects and initiatives

  • Minimum of five level 2 qualifications (GSCSs) and good IT skills
