We are a successful secondary school in Leyton, London E10 providing education in National Curriculum subjects and Hifz classes. Lantern of Knowledge Secondary School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering high-quality science education across the school.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging science lessons in line with the curriculum
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports student learning and development
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress regularly
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students
- Maintain classroom discipline in accordance with school policies
- Support students’ academic growth alongside their moral and spiritual development
- Collaborate with colleagues and participate in departmental planning and meetings
Requirements
- Relevant degree in Science or a related field
- Teaching qualification
- Strong subject knowledge
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- You must be able to demonstrate commitment to the values of the school and the Trust.
