Primary Class Teacher (KS1/KS2 – SEMH)
Salary: MPS/UPS + SEN Allowance

Hours: Full-time, core school hours
Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a specialist provision in Cambridgeshire to recruit a passionate and committed Primary Class Teacher (Key Stage 1/2) to join their dedicated team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a highly supportive setting, making a genuine difference to the lives of children with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, creative lessons tailored to meet a range of complex needs
- Support pupils’ academic progress alongside their social and emotional development
- Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and wider staff to share best practice
- Contribute to a personalised curriculum that supports individual learning journeys
This specialist provision supports children and young people with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), primarily relating to SEMH needs. The setting offers a nurturing and structured environment where pupil wellbeing is central, alongside a strong focus on progress, engagement, and personal development.

Qualifications
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Have experience teaching within Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2
- Be confident supporting pupils with additional or complex needs (SEMH experience desirable)
- Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills
- Be flexible, resilient, and committed to making a positive impact
- Have a strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection
