Bid Manager
A fast-growing engineering and technology business specialising in national security, defence and communications solutions is looking to appoint an experienced Bid Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing team, taking ownership of the end-to-end bid process across public sector and government frameworks.

es• Lead and manage the full end-to-end bid process from opportunity qualification through to final submission and contract awa
rd• Develop bid strategies and compelling win themes in collaboration with capture teams and key stakeholde
rs• Facilitate go/no-go reviews and support opportunity qualification decisio
ns• Monitor and manage responses to public sector frameworks and government procurement opportuniti
es• Write, review and edit high-quality, persuasive tender responses and supporting documentati
on• Translate complex technical information into clear, engaging and client-focused conte
nt• Manage clarification questions, procurement portals and client communicatio
ns• Maintain and develop bid collateral including case studies, CVs, social value responses and rate car
ds• Maintain bid libraries, knowledge management systems and document repositori
es• Analyse bid outcomes, conduct lessons learned reviews and implement continuous improvement initiativ
es• Liaise with internal stakeholders including technical teams, commercial teams, operational leaders and directors to gather information and coordinate submissio
nsSkills and Experie
nce• 3 years’+ experience managing bids and tender submissions, ideally within the public sector or government framework environm
ent• Proven experience delivering successful end-to-end bid submissi
ons• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple opportunities and tight deadli
nes• Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills with exceptional attention to det
ail• Strong stakeholder management and communication ski
lls• Experience working with technical subject matter experts to develop compelling cont
ent• Knowledge of UK government procurement processes and frameworks would be advantage
