About the role
As a Support Worker, you will work directly with people in their homes and in the community, supporting them with a variety of needs and enabling them to live the lives they want.
Duties
- Build great relationships with people we support and their key contacts
- Promote choice and participation when supporting people with daily tasks
- Co‑create opportunities for people to try new things and provide information to enable choices
- Offer personalised support using individual strengths to build confidence and overcome obstacles towards goals
- Encourage participation in activities that bring joy and meaning

Essential qualifications and skills
- Can motivate others and build their confidence to try new things, meet new people and achieve goals
- Hold a valid UK driving licence (preferred)
- Practical and organised
- Can establish and maintain relationships and support others to develop their own relationships
- Familiar with standard and non‑standard technology such as internet, e‑mail, databases, Microsoft Office, smart phone / iPad
