2x Account Manager – Defence, Central Government, Intelligence | Cyber Security

Northamptonshire – 1 day a month

Up to £80,000 Basic + Uncapped Commission

I’m currently partnering with a growing UK cyber security and secure data transfer specialist that supports Defence, Government and Critical National Infrastructure organisations operating in highly secure and regulated environments.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Defence or Central Government sales professional who enjoys building relationships, creating opportunities and winning strategic business.

The Opportunity

This is a true hunter role where you’ll be responsible for generating new business, building pipeline and managing opportunities through to close.

You’ll have the autonomy to shape your territory, leverage your existing network and develop long-term customer relationships whilst being supported by a highly experienced technical team.

Unlike larger organisations, you’ll have the opportunity to make a visible impact on the business, influence growth and be recognised for your contribution.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Developing new business opportunities across Defence, Central Government, Intelligence / National Security.

• Building relationships within MOD, Defence Primes, Systems Integrators, Government Departments

• Creating and executing account plans

• Attending customer meetings, industry events and networking activities

• Managing opportunities from initial engagement through to contract award

• Working closely with technical teams to develop customer solutions

• Growing accounts and identifying additional opportunities

What They’re Looking For

• Experience selling into Defence, Central Government or Intelligence

• Existing MOD and/or Defence Prime relationships

• Proven new business track record

• Experience generating pipeline independently

• Strong stakeholder management skills

• Comfortable managing long and complex sales cycles

• Self-motivated and commercially driven

• Cyber security sales experience
