Position Overview
We are looking for a surveyor to join our central London team, contributing to our record of managing assets and portfolios for investors, property companies and institutions.
In this role you will work alongside experienced senior colleagues who will coach and mentor you while you gain valuable experience to support your career development.
Key Responsibilities
- Tenant liaison and dealing with formal landlord and tenant matters such as tenant applications to assign, sub‑let or carry out alterations.
- Liaising with building, facilities and estate managers on day‑to‑day maintenance, repair and operational issues.
- Setting and managing operating service charge budgets across a range of assets across London, including high‑profile properties.
- Monitoring income and managing credit control alongside dedicated accounting personnel.
- Client reporting – assist in the production of monthly/quarterly reports as required and attend client meetings.
Qualifications and Experience
- MRICS qualifying is preferred but not essential – training will be provided for those working toward qualification.
- Experience in property management activities, particularly with service charge budgets and related processes.
- Ability to identify and pursue asset‑management opportunities to assist the client team.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to prioritise workloads.
- Experience working as part of a team to deliver results.
- Self‑initiative and proactive thinking.
- Experience with property management platforms such as Yardi Voyager is an advantage; training will be provided.
