Your income is determined entirely by the mandates you originate and the transactions that complete. Associates who build strong pipelines and work their networks effectively have the potential to earn up to £200,000 per annum. Associates who are new to the sector and building their knowledge and contacts from the ground up can expect to earn meaningfully in Year 1 and build from there.

Responsibilities
Originate new client relationships — business owners, Finance Directors, property investors, commodity traders — who have a commercial finance need of any kind.
Conduct initial discovery conversations to understand the client’s finance requirement, business profile, and timeline
Present Grindlays Capital’s full suite of services — commercial finance, trade finance, acquisition finance, and commercial insurance — and identify the right service vertical for each client.
Pass qualified mandates to the Grindlays Capital principal for structuring, lender submission, and execution
Maintain your client relationships throughout the transaction process and build long-term referral pipelines from satisfied clients
Attend networking events, industry conferences, and business meetings to develop your professional profile and origination pipeline
Leverage LinkedIn, professional networks, local business communities, and existing relationships to generate introductions and referrals
Develop your knowledge of commercial finance products — business loans, bridging finance, development finance, invoice finance, asset finance, and acquisition finance — through structured learning and hands-on experience
What You Will Earn
This is a commission-based role. Associates earn a percentage of the fee Grindlays Capital earns on each completed transaction they introduce.
Commission rates are competitive and structured to reward performance
Earnings are uncapped — there is no ceiling on what you can earn
Transactions range from small business loans to large structured finance mandates — the breadth of Grindlays Capital’s product range means every client conversation has earning potential
Associates who build consistent pipeline have the realistic potential to earn £50,000–£200,000 per annum within 12–24 months
Commission is paid promptly on transaction completion
