The school is looking to take on a dedicated ALN Learning Support Assistant on a temporary to permanent basis starting immediately.
Responsibilities
The successful ALN Learning Support Assistant will work closely with teaching staff to support pupils with a range of additional learning needs, both inside and outside of the classroom, encouraging engagement and positive educational outcomes.
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience working with children or young people with ALN
- A caring, patient and adaptable approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
- Experience supporting pupils with ASD, ADHD or learning difficulties – desirable
- A proactive and positive attitude
