We’re excited to be opening Willowhaven, our brand-new children’s home in Middleton St George, a peaceful village location close to Darlington. Willowhaven will provide a safe, nurturing environment for up to two young people aged 4-17, enabling highly personalised care and support tailored to each child’s individual needs. In this small, family-style home, young people will have the opportunity to build confidence, develop independence, and create positive futures.

The Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to help create a safe, nurturing home where children and young people can thrive. You’ll support young people with their daily lives, education, emotional wellbeing, independence, hobbies, appointments, and community activities.

Working as part of a supportive team, you’ll build positive relationships, champion safeguarding, celebrate achievements, and help young people develop the skills, confidence, and resilience they need for the future.

This role includes evenings, weekends, bank holidays, and sleep-ins as part of a flexible shift pattern.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Experience working with children and young people
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
