Role Overview

We are seeking an articulate and highly confident Sales Executive to join this established Awards Portfolio team. Candidates need to be very good communicators and articulate, as the role will require extensive communication with senior-level executives.

To give you more detail on the Awards Portfolio role, the Sales Executive will be reaching out to award winners to sell branded assets, attendance, and advertising packages. Since the prospects are already familiar with the awards and generally engaging, it’s more of a warm account management sale than traditional sale

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Engagement: The focus is on staying on top of the winner list and reaching out to all leads
  • The Workflow: Campaigns run for 12 weeks. We start with an email campaign announcing the results, followed by calls to provide an overview of the ceremony and present the package
  • Deal Size: While the sales are transactional, they are higher-ticket items ranging from £5k to £15k per package
  • Negotiation: Use strong negotiation skills to close business effectively within the campaign timeline

What “Good” Looks Like (Candidate Profile)

  • Communication Skills: We need someone who is a great communicator and can handle senior-level conversations confidently and articulately
  • Experience: Ideally, you will have previous events experience
  • Commercial Acumen: Proven ability to manage a pipeline, stay on top of lead lists, and use strong negotiation skills to close.
