£26,500 – £27,500 Basic Salary + Uncapped Commission (huge earning potential)

Operating across the UK, Europe, the UAE, Australia, the USA, and Canada, they continue to grow year-on-year and are now looking to recruit an ambitious Trainee Territory Manager to join their Yorkshire team.

The Opportunity:
Working alongside an experienced Territory Manager, you will receive comprehensive training and support designed to develop the skills, knowledge, and confidence required to become a successful sales professional within the machinery and equipment sector.
This role offers hands-on experience, exposure to a thriving industry, and the opportunity to learn from some of the most successful professionals in the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and develop relationships with existing customers while assisting in identifying and securing new business opportunities
- Prospect for new clients through networking, cold calling, referrals, and proactive business development activities
- Manage customer accounts and maintain accurate records using the company CRM system
- Research prospective customers and present strategies for converting opportunities into new business
- Attend auctions, trade shows, customer meetings, and industry events to develop market knowledge and strengthen relationships
- Learn the company’s sales processes and contribute to the continued growth of the Yorkshire territory
- Support the wider sales team while developing your own commercial and negotiation skills

What We’re Looking For:
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Previous sales experience
- Knowledge of construction, plant, agricultural machinery, or equipment sectors
- Strong Microsoft Office skills and excellent attention to detail
- Fluent written and verbal English communication skills
- Ambition to develop and refine sales, negotiation, and business development skills
- A strong interest in construction, plant, or agricultural machinery industries
- A desire to build a rewarding long-term career within a growing international business
