At Kelly Group, our operations rely on precision, organisation, and the smooth flow of materials. We’re looking for an experienced Stores‑Person to play a vital role in supporting our teams working on the CityFibre contract.

What You’ll Be Doing:

As a key member of our stores team, you’ll help ensure materials are where they need to be—when they need to be:

  • Creating purchase orders and managing goods inwards/outwards using company systems
  • Receiving and checking deliveries for accuracy, quantity, and damage
  • Operating forklifts where required to move and organise stock
  • Maintaining accurate stock levels and updating systems in real time
  • Storing materials efficiently and preparing items for collection and job allocation
  • Carrying out regular stock checks and audits
  • Keeping the stores environment clean, safe, and well organised
  • Using in‑house IT systems to manage stock and logistics
  • Supporting with additional duties as required

What We’re Looking For:

We’re seeking someone who brings experience, reliability, and a strong eye for detail:

  • At least 2 years’ experience in a similar stores, yard, or logistics role (or equivalent)
  • A solid understanding of health and safety best practices
  • Full UK driving licence held for a minimum of 1 year.
  • Comfortable using computers and stock management systems
  • Methodical, organised, and able to work independently
  • Forklift licence (desirable but not essential)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organisational ability with keen attention to detail
  • Able to prioritise tasks and manage a varied workload
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
  • Able to meet targets in a busy, fast‑changing environment
  • Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to problem‑solving
