Sales Manager
Location: Field-Based (UK)
Salary: £50,000–£55,000 + Bonus
Type: Full-time, Permanent
My client, a global engineering and industrial technology business, is looking for a Sales Manager to drive growth across a designated UK territory. This role will focus on developing key customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering sales growth across a range of industrial products and services.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and grow relationships with existing and prospective customers
Identify and secure new business opportunities within the assigned territory
Deliver product presentations and promote technical solutions to customers
Manage the preparation of quotations, proposals, and commercial offers
Negotiate contracts and orders while maintaining profitability targets
Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline reporting through CRM systems
Monitor market trends and identify new opportunities for business growth
Work closely with internal teams to ensure excellent customer support and project delivery
Requirements
Proven experience in a technical sales or business development role
Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
Experience selling to the paper-making industry
Ability to build long-term customer relationships and manage key accounts
Self-motivated with excellent communication and presentation skills
Willingness to travel extensively within the UK
