Interim Sales Director – UK (6–9 Month Contract £120-135k Pro Rata)
A well-established national services business is seeking an experienced Interim Sales Director to lead its commercial function during a period of transition.
The Role
- Lead a sales organisation of approximately 30, spanning key account management and a national field sales team
- Own the revenue number — pipeline, conversion, retention, and growth across new and existing business
- Drive performance management and sales discipline across regionally dispersed teams
- Strengthen key account relationships across a portfolio of high-value, contract-based clients
- Work closely with operations to ensure commercial commitments are deliverable
- Provide stability, pace, and clear commercial leadership from day one
About You
- A proven sales leader who has run teams of 30+ across field and account management structures
- Background in B2B services — contract-based, recurring-revenue models strongly preferred (e.g. facilities, logistics, business services, financial services)
- Comfortable stepping into an interim brief: quick to diagnose, quick to act, no long runway needed
- Strong key account credentials with experience at enterprise and national-account level
- Immediately available or on short notice
