About the Role

As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and qualifying prospective customers across the EMEA region. You will work closely with the Sales and Marketing teams to generate qualified meetings and opportunities with Finance, Accounts Payable, Shared Services, and Transformation leaders.

This role is ideal for a proactive and ambitious sales professional who enjoys prospecting, building relationships, and contributing directly to company growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research and identify target accounts and key decision-makers across the EMEA market.
  • Execute outbound prospecting campaigns via email, phone, LinkedIn, and other channels.
  • Engage prospects and articulate the value of FlexTecs’ AP Intelligence platform FlexTrap.
  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads using established qualification frameworks.
  • Schedule discovery meetings for Account Executives.
  • Maintain accurate records of prospect interactions and activities within CRM systems.
  • Collaborate with Marketing on campaign follow-up and lead nurturing initiatives.
  • Develop account insights and personalised outreach strategies for target organisations.
  • Consistently meet or exceed activity, meeting, and pipeline generation targets.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, challenges, and competitor offerings.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 1–3 years of experience in a BDR, SDR, inside sales, lead generation, or similar customer-facing role.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Experience with outbound prospecting and cold outreach.
  • Comfortable engaging senior-level stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain a high level of activity.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling SaaS, finance technology, AP automation, or enterprise software solutions.
  • Knowledge of Accounts Payable, Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Shared Services, or Finance Operations.
  • Experience working with multinational organisations across EMEA.
