Senior Sales Assistant (16 hours contract)

Heron Foods is looking for a Senior Part‑Time Sales Assistant in Netherton, Liverpool (L30 5QA). The role is permanent and requires 16 hours per week. Pay is up to £13 per hour, with an additional enhancement for management duties.

Key responsibilities:

• Support and motivate the team to deliver exceptional results.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and resolve queries effectively.
• Maintain an impeccable store presentation with well‑stocked and tidy shelves.
• Assist with stock management and oversee deliveries.
• Act as a keyholder and take responsibility for the store in the absence of management, including opening and closing.

• A friendly, approachable and professional manner with a passion for leadership.
• A strong work ethic and the ability to thrive in a busy, fast‑moving workplace.
• Previous leadership experience in retail or hospitality, with bonus points for key‑holder experience.
• The ability to juggle multiple tasks and take ownership when stepping into a supervisory role.
