Are you passionate about supporting children and young people to achieve their full potential? We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join our supportive team in Cambridge. This rewarding role involves working closely with teachers and students to provide tailored support that enables every learner to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide one‑to‑one and small group support to pupils with additional learning needs.
- Assist teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
- Support students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) to access the curriculum.
- Encourage independence, confidence, and positive behaviour.
- Monitor and record student progress and communicate effectively with teaching staff and parents where appropriate.
- Help create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.
Ideal Candidate
- Experience working with children or young people in an educational or care setting.
- A patient, compassionate, and flexible approach.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A genuine commitment to improving outcomes for children and young people.
- An Enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
- GCSE English & Maths.
