About Education Practice Engagement Manager

The EY-Parthenon Strategy team seeks Engagement Managers to lead buy- and sell-side commercial due diligence and strategy engagements across Education sub‑sectors. The role is based in London and requires strong commercial diligence, strategy, and client‑relationship skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead client projects, shaping deliverables and developing client relationships.
  • Manage project teams of 4‑10 consultants.
  • Create inclusive culture within teams and engagements.
  • Identify business opportunities and drive sales activity.
  • Collaborate with wider EY teams to deliver best solutions.
  • Build internal practice initiatives such as training, professional development, and innovation.
  • Coach and advise consultants on career development.
  • Contribute to proposals, pursuits, thought leadership, and internal operational initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Prior experience in strategy consulting with commercial due diligence, or strong commercial and/or transaction experience.
  • Credible project management and ability to plan, deliver, structure, write, and present work against tight deadlines.
  • Analytical skill set.
  • Proficiency in MS PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Willingness to share technical knowledge with the team.
  • Passion for Education sector topics and experience within the Education sector.
