Digital Project Manager – Cambridge

We’re looking for a Digital Project Manager to help deliver our Digital, Data and Technology Programme. You’ll lead projects that improve services and make the best use of our technology, working closely with teams across the council and with external partners.

You’ll act as both a delivery expert and a key point of coordination, ensuring projects are aligned with our wider goals and delivered in a consistent, professional way.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of digital projects from discovery through to implementation
  • Work closely with ICT partners, suppliers and internal teams to keep work on track
  • Monitor progress, manage risks and ensure key milestones are met
  • Identify and implement the right digital solutions, making best use of existing systems
  • Support and improve key systems, including housing platforms
  • Improve processes and help create better digital experiences for customers
  • Build strong relationships and support collaboration across teams
  • Provide guidance and support to business analysts

Hours: This is a full-time role, for 37 hours per week.

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 5 Days a Week

Contract: Fixed Term until 31/03/27 with a possible extension until 31/03/28

Salary: £52 413 – £56 782 per annum (City Pay Band 8)

Location: This is flexible – working in Cambridge on site or at one of our offices or working from home.  You will be able to balance your work location accordingly.
