Eurovia Specialist Treatments (EST) is a specialist business unit that deliver high-quality maintenance and surface treatment solutions across the UK’s highways and infrastructure network.

With a focus on innovation and technical expertise, EST offers a range of preservation treatments designed to extend asset life, improve safety, and optimise network performance. Partnering with both public and private sector clients, the team combines operational excellence with strong commercial discipline to deliver efficient, sustainable and value-driven solutions.

We are looking for an experienced and commercially driven Commercial Manager to lead the commercial function within our EST business. This is a pivotal senior leadership role with broad influence across the business unit. You will be responsible for driving commercial performance, strengthening governance, and supporting the successful delivery of a varied portfolio of projects.

Working closely with operational, estimating and leadership teams, you will play a key role in shaping business strategy, managing commercial risk, and ensuring strong financial performance

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the commercial function across EST projects, covering contract management, cost control, and risk management
  • Provide commercial governance and support to operational delivery teams
  • Responsibility for procurement across the business, including line management of a Bid Manager
  • Dotted line into Eurovia Estimating function for alignment on tendering and pricing
  • Reporting directly to BU Manager (myself), with a dotted line to the Eurovia Commercial Director
  • Support tendering, pipeline development, and overall commercial performance of the business unit

About You

  • Demonstrable experience as a Commercial Manager within infrastructure, highways or construction
  • Strong expertise in contract management, cost control and commercial risk
  • Proven experience in procurement and supply chain strategy
  • Track record of supporting successful tendering and bidding activity
  • Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to operate at both a strategic and operational level
  • Degree-qualified (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a related discipline
