Location: Salford Priors, Evesham. Pay: £13.56 per hour. Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 3:00pm. Type: Temp to Perm. Overtime: Available. Driving licence: Full UK Driving Licence Required.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Stores Person to join a leading manufacturing business based in Salford Priors, near Evesham. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and reliable individual with previous stores, warehouse, goods-in, or stock control experience. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring materials, components, and stock are accurately received, stored, and supplied to production teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Receiving, checking, and booking in deliveries
• Picking and issuing parts and materials to production and assembly departments
• Accurately maintaining stock records and inventory levels
• Carrying out regular stock counts and cycle counts
• Loading and unloading deliveries safely
• Organising and maintaining stores and warehouse areas
• Ensuring parts and materials are correctly identified and stored
• Liaising with purchasing, production, and warehouse teams
• Assisting with goods-in and goods-out processes
• Using computer systems to update stock movements and inventory records
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment
• Following all company procedures and Health & Safety regulations

Requirements

• Previous experience working as a Stores Person, Warehouse Operative, Goods-In Operative, or Stock Controller
• Good attention to detail and accuracy when handling stock
• Experience using stock control systems or basic computer software
• Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
• Reliable, punctual, and proactive approach to work
• Full UK driving licence and access to your own transport due to the location
• FLT Counterbalance licence would be advantageous but is not essential
