£36,000 – £39,367 + Overtime to maximise earnings, 4‑day working week (Monday‑Thursday), healthcare scheme, bonus, pension, holiday buy scheme, training and development.
North Ayrshire – commutable from Ayr, Troon, Kilmarnock, Irvine, Dalry, Stewarton, Dunlop, Beith, Stevenston.
We are seeking an electrically focused Maintenance Engineer with a manufacturing background to support our production line. The role involves performing planned, corrective and reactive electrical maintenance on a variety of production machinery, troubleshooting and repairing electrical breakdowns, and conducting periodic inspection and testing. Work hours are 38 hours per week, Monday to Thursday, 7:00 am to 4:48 pm.
Responsibilities
- Plan, carry out and document preventive maintenance tasks.
- Respond to corrective and reactive maintenance requests.
- Diagnose and repair electrical breakdowns and conduct periodic inspection and testing.
Candidate
- Electrical Engineering qualification (HNC / NVQ / City and Guilds).
- Good working knowledge of maintenance practice.
- Experience or willingness to work with a global manufacturer.
