The Role

  • Deliver engaging and high-quality Science lessons across KS3 and KS4.
  • Teach Biology, Chemistry, and Physics in line with the national curriculum.
  • Plan, prepare, and assess lessons that challenge and inspire students.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes achievement and confidence.
  • Monitor and track student progress, providing effective feedback and support.
  • Contribute to the wider school community and the ongoing development of the Science department.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Has experience teaching Science within a secondary school setting.
  • Demonstrates excellent subject knowledge and enthusiasm for Science education.
  • Possesses strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Is committed to helping students achieve their full potential.
  • Works collaboratively and positively within a team environment.
