Workshop Trainer – Bricklaying

Hours of work: 37 hours per week

Salary: £30,438 to £32,292 per annum

Location: Castleford College – Thunderhead Ridge, Castleford, West Yorkshire, WF10 4UA

The Heart of Yorkshire Education Group has an exciting opportunity to join a small, friendly and positive team in our Construction department. This role will provide technical support in workshops for the delivery of the Construction curriculum, assisting teaching staff with demonstrating, instructing and assessing learners in practical Bricklaying activities. It is a challenging and varied role that offers opportunities to develop new skills.

You Will Have

  • GCSE in English and Maths A*-C/9-4 or equivalent
  • Level 2 qualification in a relevant vocational area or equivalent
  • A First Aid qualification, or willingness to achieve within the first 6 months of appointment
  • A wide range of experience gained within the Construction industry
