Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer

Company

Maintenance division of a group of M&E companies who design, install and maintain commercial M&E building services. Turnover c£90m.

Role

Working mainly across the North West, with occasional travel to the Midlands, preferably based around Manchester. Responsible for the planned and reactive maintenance of commercial heating plant and associated mechanical services including AHU, FCU, expansion vessels and pipework in commercial offices and gyms. Also maintain domestic boilers in a domestic environment.

Qualifications

• Experienced heating engineer with commercial maintenance background.
• Current commercial gas tickets; ideally domestic as well.
• Some ventilation experience.

Salary & Benefits

• £20.08 / hour (£41,766) – travel time paid door to door at 1.5× over 8 hours.
• All travel paid door to door.
• Company van and fuel card – no private use.
• 50 hours per week including travel equates to c£56k.
• 23 + statutory days holiday – holiday pay averaged over last 10 weeks including all overtime worked including travel time.
• Overtime rates: 1.5× after 8 hours daily; 2× on Saturday after first 5 hours and all day Sunday.
