Roledescription: Youwill develop innovative solutions to complex and emerging technical challenges withinadvanced radar systems, applying broad systems engineering expertise to guide design,resolve issues and ensure technical rigour. Your role includesperforming detailed system analysis , managing design trade‑offs and leading thedecomposition and governance of requirements using approvedtoolsets such as IBM DOORS Next. Actingas a central technical authority, you will drive system‑level decision ‑making, lead analytical activities and mentorteam members while collaborating with multidisciplinary specialiststo shape integrated design solutions. Experience of systems design,integration & test An understanding of Systems andProduct lifecycles from concept through to delivery An understanding of a range ofEngineering disciplines (Software, Mechanical,Electrical) Anunderstanding of Radar Systems is desirable, although not essentialif other complementary skills demonstrate a capacity to understandnew technologies quickly and effectively Good inter-personal skills with theability to communicate to all levels within the organisation andexternally Experience of presenting bothtechnical and non-technical information in a formalsetting Degree (orequivalent) qualified in an engineering or sciencediscipline TheRadar Systems Engineering team: Youwill be working as a Principal Systems Engineer within ourclose-knit multi-function radar team of inter-disciplinaryengineers, evolving our radar portfolio of existing and brand-newradar products to address emerging and future threats.
