Kitchen Fitter – Social Housing

Location: Ashington and surrounding areas

Hours: 39 hours per week

Duration: Ongoing contract work – potential for up to 12 months

We are currently recruiting experienced Kitchen Fitters to join a leading social housing contractor working across tenanted properties in the Ashington area. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled tradespeople seeking long-term, consistent work with a well-established contractor.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation of complete kitchens within occupied (tenanted) social housing properties.
• Expected output of approximately one kitchen installation per day.
• Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and within agreed timescales.
• Maintaining a professional and customer‑focused approach when working in residents’ homes.
• Adhering to all site health and safety procedures.

Requirements

• Valid CSCS Card
• Manual Handling Certificate
• Asbestos Awareness Certificate
• Working at Heights Certificate
• Face Fit Certificate (can be provided by us if required)
• Previous kitchen fitting experience, ideally within social housing or occupied properties
• Own tools essential
• Own transport essential
